چکیده
Olive tree vegetal materials are considered a powerful source for the isolation of bioactive compounds—mainly phenols and triterpenic acids. However, high humidity content them reduces their preservation extractability to liquid solvent. Accordingly, drying step is crucial homogenize material obtain an efficient extraction. We studied influence process on extraction efficiency compounds from olive material. For this purpose, we evaluated effects four processes solid–liquid two by-products, leaves pomace, fruits harvested cultivars, Alfafara Koroneiki. Infrared-assisted (IAD) was most suited approach extracts enriched in oleuropein (28.5 22.2% dry weight Koroneiki, respectively). In case lyophilization microwave-assisted led concentrated oleacein aglycone, whereas IAD oven-drying with enhanced contents hydroxytyrosol glucoside hydroxytyrosol, respectively. The considerably affected chemical composition obtained fruits. Changes were explained essentially by conditions using auxiliary energies, temperature, time, which promoted alterations increased compounds. Therefore, protocol should be selected depending phenolic initial raw

Techniques for extraction of bioactive compounds from plant materials: A review
The use of bioactive compounds in different commercial sectors such as pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries signifies the need of the most appropriate and standard method to extract these active components from plant materials. Along with conventional methods, numerous new methods have been established but till now no single method is regarded as standard for extracting bioactive compou...
متن کاملRecovering Bioactive Compounds from Olive Oil Filter Cake by Advanced Extraction Techniques
The potential of by-products generated during extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO) filtration as a natural source of phenolic compounds (with demonstrated bioactivity) has been evaluated using pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) and considering mixtures of two GRAS (generally recognized as safe) solvents (ethanol and water) at temperatures ranging from 40 to 175 °C. The extracts were characterized by ...

Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) from natural products has been widely studied as an alternative to the use of traditional techniques in the production of bioactive compounds. It has been demonstrated that this process is particularly useful when treating thermolabile compounds and solvent pollution has to be avoided. SFE can be applied to systems of different scales, from analytical scale,...
